In 2015, the company restructured its businesses under the name Zac-Tranz Group to better capture the operation of all its divisions. Zac-Tranz has invested in a complete carrier automation solution with advanced capabilities including internet dispatching, automated email notifications, and mobile communications.

We are a fully EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) compatible company. Our EDI work flow modules allow us and our clients to send all data and document transfers via internet FTP (File Transfer Protocol). All of our power units are equipped with GPS tracking modules for real-time reports.

Our secure terminals are equipped with the latest camera infrared technology and coded swipe card entrance and exit.

The facilities are also equipped with motion sensor detectors and highly trained guard dogs. These protective measures allow us to keep containers and the product they carry safe and secure from risk of theft or vandals.

Safety has always been a top priority for Zac-Tranz. Whether it is at our premises or at a client’s location, cargo safety and security is of extreme importance to our team.

The Canadian ELD (Electronic Logging Device) mandate will only be implemented in June 2021 while Zac-Tranz have voluntarily adopted ELD since 2018 with 100% Hours of Service Compliant carrier with satisfactory rating.

Zac-Tranz provides mandatory driver training programs, quarterly driver safety meetings, and safety incentive program in place to encourage & spread safe habits.

Our Montreal facility has a state-of-the-art garage and team of mechanics to inspect our equipment for the safety of our drivers and the roads they drive on. Our certified mechanics keep our equipment above government safety standards to make us a road- and public-friendly company. Drivers are trained to minimize unnecessary idling in order to support a healthy environment. We have stringent maintenance schedules to ensure equipment safety.
